Responsibilities
Mr. Donlon performs several roles for the Township. As the Construction Official and Zoning Officer, he is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the State Uniform Construction Codes and the Township’s Land Use and Development Legislation - Part 5. This includes the issuing of permits for erection, construction, alteration, repair, remodeling, conversion, removal, or destruction of any building, structure, or other regulated improvements. This also includes issuing certificates for the use or occupancy of any building, structure, or land. As the Township’s Property Maintenance Officer, he is responsible for enforcing the provisions of the municipality's Property Maintenance Code.
Work History
Mr. Donlon has served in the Construction Department for the Township of Hanover since June 2000. He was appointed Construction Official, Zoning Officer, and Property Maintenance Officer in September 2011. He has a Business Administration degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
