Economic Development Advisory Committee
Since 2010, the Economic Development Advisory Committee has assisted the Township, in an advisory role, by proactively promoting responsible commercial revitalization to expand and strengthen Hanover’s economy through a partnership of government, business and the community.

Sustainability is related to the quality of life in a community - whether the economic, social and environmental systems that make up the community are providing a healthy, productive, meaningful life for all community residents, present and future. Both the Environmental Commission and the Green Team work to help Hanover achieve sustainability goals.

Hanover Sewerage Authority
The Hanover Sewerage Authority provides wastewater collection and treatment service within the Township.

Landmark Commission
The Hanover Township Landmark Commission was established over thirty years ago. The Commission works to identify, protect, and preserve historical sites within the township, including the Whippany Burying Yard, the oldest cemetery in Morris County.
