Bee Meadow Swim Team
Open to participants between the ages of 6 to 18, The Bee Meadow Swim Team is both an individual and a team sport allowing the swimmers to compete against themselves (improving their times and strokes) and against teams from the neighboring towns. Try-outs are held in early June to determine eligibility. Participants must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 meters) without stopping. “Rusty swimmer” clinics are held prior to try-outs so swimmers can brush up on their strokes. Registration begins in May and the season runs from early June through the end of July.
Open to participants in grades 3 through 8 with the focus on instruction and skills development in the younger grades. The teams also participate in league play with surrounding towns. The boys program runs through the East Hanover Recreation Department; the girls program runs through Hanover Township Recreation. The season runs from March through early June. Registration is held in early January.
