Portion Of Eden Lane Closed

Starting on Monday, July 7th through May, 2009, the County of Morris will undertake the replacement of the temporary Eden Lane Bridge which spans the Whippany River. A $2.7 million contract was awarded by the County to Kyle Conti Contracting to replace the existing 36 year old, 100-foot span. One million dollars in State funds will be applied toward construction costs. Detour and notification signage to guide the public around the construction area will be erected shortly. Only local traffic to the Eden Land condominium development and other residences near Whippany Road will be permitted entry. Please be guided accordingly.
