Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) meteorologists are closely monitoring the weather conditions that may impact the area. JCP&L is prepared to activate its storm restoration plan should power outages occur.
In the event outages occur, customers without power are encouraged to call 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877) to report the outage, or click the “Report Outage” link on www.firstenergycorp.com. In the event of severe weather, customers should immediately report downed wires to their utility, or call their local police or fire department.
