Part time Building Inspector/Assistant Property Maintenance Officer
Building Inspector/Assistant Property Maintenance Officer – Township of Hanover seeks qualified part-time Building Inspector/Assistant Property Maintenance Officer to work up to 28 hours per week to enforce the Building Inspector subcode of the State Uniform Construction Code within the Township of Hanover. As needed, assists with property maintenance, zoning, and day to day operations of the Building Department. Must possess a current and valid subcode license issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs and a current and valid New Jersey driver’s license. Summer Intern for Building Department
Township of Hanover seeks a Summer Intern to support a busy nine-member Building Department. Position reports to the Construction Code Official/Zoning Officer/Property Maintenance Officer. Candidate will assist callers and customers at the Building Department counter and provide clerical support in the day-to-day operations of the department. The Township of Hanover seeks part-time CDL Driver to work for the Recreation and Park Administration Department.  A Dial-A-Ride Driver is responsible for transporting senior citizens and non-ambulatory residents to and from doctors’ appointments and shopping. Successful candidate must be 18 years of age or older, in possession of a valid N.J. CDL drivers’ license.  Candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills for heavy public contact. No fringe benefits. Building Proctor
The Township of Hanover seeks part-time Building Proctors to work in the Recreation and Park Administration Department.  Building Proctors report to the Superintendent of Recreation and Park Administration and are responsible for overseeing the use of Department Facilities during non-office hours including evenings and weekends.  Successful candidates must be 18 years of age or older, in possession of a valid N.J. driver’s license, be of good character and have excellent customer service and communication skills for heavy public contact.  Hours vary depending on events.  No fringe benefits.  EOE/ADA.
