Lyme Disease  remains a serious concern in this area. Due to the unusual warm winter of 2015, we found that the lifecycle of ticks was not interrupted and the presence of ticks was noticed through the winter months. In fact, the Hanover Health Department actually responded to calls of ticks entering people’s homes on the Christmas trees.
