The Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority (MCMUA) collects recycling materials curbside.
To ensure you receive collection, please place your recyclables at the curb the night before your scheduled collection, but no later than 5 a.m. the day of collection. The MCMUA cannot return to collect material that was put out later than 5 a.m. the day of collection.
Collection During Windy Conditions
If conditions are windy, place heavy items on top of lighter items (e.g, glass bottles on top of your plastic), or use lids. Until material is collected, it is the responsibility of residents to ensure that recycling does not blow around. If you do use lids, please label your containers to identify the material in the container. Free container labels are available in the General Office at the Municipal Building (1000 Route 10), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Missed Recycling & Other Complaints
If your recycling collection was missed, please call 973-428-2495 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. If the Township is not notified by 10 a.m. on the morning following your collection, the material that was missed cannot be collected.
For complaints, please call 973-659-3490.
